Come to Pray-- On Your Time

Consider bringing your prayer group, deacons, parish council or a group of faith-filled friends to experience the peace and renewal that so many individuals experience here. Bring your own director. Tailor the time to fit your needs.

We schedule retreats at specific times, but we welcome you to come privately for retreat or spiritual direction anytime it is convenient for you and space is available. Three hermitages (small cottages) are available. Just check our website or Facebook. Send in your request or call Sheila at 662-738-5348.

Spring Arrives at The Dwelling Place

Dear Friends,

We have welcomed many new and old friends here for retreat this spring. We are grateful that you have utilized this sacred place for your time with the Lord. Spread the good news! Tell your friends!

I want to take this opportunity to reassure everyone on our mailing list that we do NOT sell any names. I understand that concern; I personally receive mailings from causes to which I have no connection. Be assured that if you receive correspondence or mailings from us, it means that you have been here or have supported us in some way.

Also this spring, Mother Nature has been showing off her beauty. Pollen, blossoms and catskins all give promise of new life. Even now green figs give us hope... if we pick them before the birds! Recent rains are filling up the pond and greening the lawns-- all of which suffered from last summer's drought. We celebrate all the newness. Come enjoy the beauty with us.
